On Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Denver Nuggets in California.
Before the game (on Friday), Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported that the Lakers will sign Harry Giles.
The former Duke star has played in 16 games for the Brooklyn Nets this season and is averaging 3.4 points and 1.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 27.3% from the three-point range.
Via Charania: "Free agent C/F Harry Giles III has agreed on a two-way NBA contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, his agent Daniel Hazan of Hazan Sports Management told @TheAthletic @Stadium . Lakers adding depth at the center position in wake of injuries to Christian Wood and Colin Castleton."

Giles was the 20th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and has played four seasons in the NBA for the Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers (in addition to the Nets).
His career averages are 5.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest while shooting 51.1% from the field and 26.2% from the three-point range in 158 regular season games.
He has also appeared in one NBA playoff game (with Portland).
