The Philadelphia Eagles may be getting star tight end Dallas Goedert back from injury soon, just in time for their monumental Week 14 clash with the Dallas Cowboys on "Sunday Night Football."
Goedert joined the "94WIP Midday Show" on Tuesday and discussed his broken right forearm injury that he suffered in Week 9 during the team's first matchup against the Cowboys. The 28-year-old has missed the team's last three games.
The Eagles defeated Dallas 28-23 on Nov. 5 at home and will take on their NFC East rivals Sunday on the road. Philadelphia leads the division at 10-2 but is coming off a 42-19 home loss to the San Francisco 49ers and is just one game ahead of the 9-3 Cowboys (as well as the Niners and Detroit Lions) for the best record in the conference.

"It's probably feeling like 85 to 90-percent back to normal...I'm able to do everything I need to do in my position group, so I am planning on going down to Dallas and playing every snap they allow me to."

Goedert had arguably his best season in 2021, posting a career-high 830 receiving yards, as well as 56 receptions and four touchdowns on his 76 targets. All of those figures ranked second on the team only behind star wideout DeVonta Smith.
Despite missing five games last year with a shoulder injury, the South Dakota State product placed third on the team in targets (69), receptions (55) and receiving yards (702) and was tied for third in receiving touchdowns (three).
Goedert got off to a slow start during the 2023 campaign, including a one-target goose egg in Week 1, and posted no more than 41 receiving yards in the first four contests. The 2018 second-round picked things up beginning in the team's Week 5 win against the Los Angeles Rams with season highs in targets (nine), receptions (eight) and receiving yards (117) to go along with a score.
Even though he's missed three games this season, Goedert still ranks third on the Eagles in targets (52), receptions (38) and receiving yards (410).
